Director General Zhao Chunfeng of MOFCOM Visits IBI for Research on Cross-Border Industrial Cooperation

On March 13, Zhao Chunfeng, Director General of the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM), led a delegation to Zhongguancun Fengtai Park to conduct research on the “Xianfeng Qihang” Comprehensive Service Program for Enterprises Going Global. During the visit, the delegation first toured IBI, where they were warmly received by Pan Yong, Director, Senior Vice President, and Board Secretary of the company, along with other senior executives.

The delegation visited the Digital Economy Exhibition Hall of IBI and engaged in discussions with company representatives on topics related to cross-border development of industrial belts, gaining deeper insights into IBI’s practical experience and initiatives in cross-border industrial cooperation.

Drawing on the cases, data, and application scenarios presented in the exhibition hall, Pan Yong highlighted the company’s key strategic layout in cross-border industrial development, its digital service model, and its innovative practices in cross-border supply chain services, overseas market expansion, and empowering small and medium-sized enterprises to expand internationally. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of IBI’s exploration and achievements in facilitating the global expansion of industrial ecosystems.

Director General Zhao Chunfeng spoke highly of IBI’s long-term commitment to industrial digitalization and its proactive exploration of cross-border cooperation among industrial clusters. He expressed the hope that IBI will leverage the development of the “Xianfeng Qihang” comprehensive service hub for enterprises going global, fully utilize its strengths, focus on key sectors, and maintain standardized operations while effectively managing risks. He also encouraged the company to continue advancing cross-border industrial cooperation and services supporting SMEs going global, build benchmark cases, and contribute to the high-quality development of China’s outward investment and international economic cooperation.

Looking ahead, IBI will continue to seize the opportunities brought by the development of industrial digitalization and cross-border cooperation, further deepening its exploration and practice in cross-border industrial ecosystems. The company will continue to improve its cross-border service system, strengthen platform-based technological empowerment and resource integration capabilities, focus on the core needs of industrial clusters expanding overseas, optimize cross-border supply chain service processes, and enhance overseas market development efficiency. Participants in the research visit also included Chen Qin, Director of the Investment Promotion Division of the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of MOFCOM; Chen Yida, Deputy Director of the same division; Li Yi, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau; Gao Chongyao, Vice Mayor of Fengtai District; Zhang Junfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Fengtai Park; as well as other officials from relevant departments.
