China Agricultural International Cooperation Promotion Association Delegation Visits IBI Feidoodoo
On March 6, a delegation from the China Agricultural International Cooperation Promotion Association (CAICP) visited IBI Feidoodoo. The delegation was led by Jia Guangdong, President of CAICP and former Party Secretary of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and included Li Li, Vice President and Secretary-General of CAICP; Le Rong, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Technology Transformation and Industrial Development Branch; and Liu Zeyang, Director of the Government and Enterprise Affairs Department of the same branch.
The delegation was warmly received by Yin Haifeng, Vice President of IBI and CEO of Feidoodoo; Han Xiao, Vice President of Feidoodoo; Xu Ce, Director of the Strategic Development Department; and Feng Bo, Director of the Operations Department. The two sides held productive discussions on key topics including the development of a cross-border seed trading platform and deeper cooperation in industrial digitalization.

The visiting delegation first toured the Digital Economy Exhibition Hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of IBI and the Duoduo platforms’ operational model, the cross-border strategy for industrial belts, and the technological applications and practices of IBI Cloud.

During the symposium, Jia Guangdong spoke highly of Feidoodoo’s achievements in the field of industrial digital economy. He noted:
“Today, the deep integration of agricultural modernization and digitalization is an inevitable trend. Seeds are the ‘chips’ of agriculture. Promoting the digitalization, transparency, and efficiency of cross-border seed trade is of great significance for ensuring food security and enhancing China’s international competitiveness in agriculture. CAICP brings together extensive expert resources both domestically and internationally. We look forward to working closely with Feidoodoo to explore the development of a cross-border seed trading platform. By leveraging the association’s expert think tank, we can provide professional support in areas such as standards alignment, variety introduction and export, and international market rules, thereby enhancing the platform’s authority and credibility.”
Yin Haifeng expressed her warm welcome to the delegation and introduced Feidoodoo’s strategic layout in industrial digitalization and cross-border supply chain services. She stated:
“Feidoodoo has always been committed to promoting collaborative innovation across the industrial chain through digital technology. In the development of a cross-border seed trading platform, we see tremendous potential and service value. Feidoodoo will fully leverage its strengths in digital platform operations, big data applications, and cross-border supply chain integration. With the association serving as a bridge, we aim to jointly build an international seed industry service platform integrating information exchange, online trading, quality traceability, and financial services. This initiative not only expands the boundaries of our platform business but also represents an important step in serving the entire agricultural value chain and promoting industry development.”
Both sides agreed that the deep integration of the association’s think tank and bridging advantages with the platform’s digital technology and operational capabilities will effectively activate industrial resources and enhance the resilience and security of industrial and supply chains.
Looking ahead, the two parties will establish a regular communication mechanism, refine cooperation plans, and jointly promote the implementation of the cross-border seed trading platform. They will also explore broader cooperation opportunities in the digitalization of the agricultural industry, contributing to the advancement of China’s agricultural modernization and global development.
