A Delegation Led by Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of the China–ASEAN Centre, Visits IBI Toodudu
On January 15, a delegation led by Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of the China–ASEAN Centre, visited IBI and held discussions and exchanges with Liu Zhai, Director and Senior Vice President of IBI, among others.
Shao Zhaojun, Vice President of IBI and Senior Vice President of Toodudu, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including Guangxi and ASEAN market layout, B2B platform development, and the advancement of regional headquarters construction, jointly exploring new paths to promote the digital upgrading of economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Digital Economy Exhibition Hall, gaining an understanding of IBI’s current Duoduo platform operation model, cross-border operation strategies for industrial clusters, as well as the technical applications and practical strategies of IBI Cloud.
The China–ASEAN Centre is an intergovernmental international organization jointly established by China and the ten ASEAN countries, aiming to promote pragmatic cooperation and friendly exchanges between China and ASEAN in fields such as trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism.
It serves as an important platform for advancing and deepening the strategic partnership between the two sides.
During the exchange, Shi Zhongjun stated:
“The China–ASEAN Centre has long been committed to promoting economic and trade connectivity and sustainable development between the two sides, and has unique advantages in policy coordination, platform development, and project matchmaking.
IBI Toodudu has mature platform operation experience and digital capabilities in the field of the industrial internet, particularly with notable achievements in cross-border industrial cluster services.
We hope that both sides can strengthen collaboration to jointly promote digital docking and cooperation between Chinese and ASEAN enterprises in industrial and supply chains, and contribute to regional economic integration and high-quality development.”
Liu Zhai stated:
“IBI continues to deepen industrial chain services based on its industrial internet platforms.
We have established the China (ASEAN) Chongzuo Fruit Trading Center in Pingxiang, Guangxi, and are actively exploring new models of cross-border digital trade.
As the frontier window for China’s opening-up and cooperation with ASEAN, Guangxi enjoys prominent locational advantages. The company will give full play to its platform and technological capabilities to further strengthen the Guangxi–ASEAN regional industrial hub function.
The two sides have jointly discussed the construction of a B2B digital trading platform serving China–ASEAN and even China–Central Asia, promoting the implementation of innovative service scenarios such as localized operations, digital cloud factories, and supply chain finance, and contributing to the stability and upgrading of regional industrial and supply chains.”
Zhao Hong, Director of the Trade and Investment Department of the China–ASEAN Centre, and Yang Ming, an official of the Trade and Investment Department; Wang Xianghong, Vice President of Toodudu and Director of the Big Data Management Department; and Zhao Qianren, Assistant to the President of Toodudu, also participated in the discussion and exchange.
