Delegation from the Brazil Belt and Road & Cultural and Economic Development Fund Federation Visits IBI
On November 26, a delegation led by Carlos Fioravanti, Chairman of the Brazil Belt and Road & Cultural and Economic Development Fund Federation, visited IBI (Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd.). Wang Xia, Chairman of Zhongding Haoshuo, accompanied the delegation. The visit was received by Xu Jian, Executive President of CNAUTO under IBI, along with other representatives. The parties held in-depth discussions on key topics including China–Brazil cross-border trade cooperation, overseas warehouse network deployment, and the development of a digital trade ecosystem, injecting new momentum into bilateral economic and trade collaboration.
The delegation first toured IBI’s Digital Economy Exhibition Hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of IBI and its Duoduo platform matrix, as well as their innovative practices in industrial digital economy operations and cross-border industrial cluster development.
During the discussion session, Carlos Fioravanti noted that Brazil possesses significant advantages in agricultural product exports. He expressed hope that, through cooperation with IBI, digital platforms could be leveraged to connect critical links in China–Brazil cross-border agricultural trade, optimize end-to-end services including warehousing, logistics, and customs clearance, reduce trade costs, and improve circulation efficiency, thereby enabling efficient matching and shared value between agricultural trade resources of the two countries. He further pointed out that Brazil’s domestic logistics network and warehousing resources still have room for optimization, and suggested that IBI deploy overseas warehouses in key Brazilian cities. By using overseas warehouse data to feed back into the supply chain, enterprises could more accurately grasp market demand and comprehensively enhance their competitiveness in cross-border trade.
Xu Jian stated that IBI has always been committed to building a global digital industrial ecosystem, and that China–Brazil economic and trade cooperation holds enormous potential and broad prospects. IBI will actively align with market demand in Brazil, fully leverage its strengths in digital technology, cross-border supply chains, and platform resources, and deepen cooperation with Brazilian partners. The company is willing to actively participate in the construction of China–Brazil cross-border trade infrastructure, contributing to trade liberalization and facilitation, and to the sustained and healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
Through this exchange, the two sides reached preliminary consensus on follow-up cooperation. The Brazil Belt and Road & Cultural and Economic Development Fund Federation formally invited IBI to conduct an in-depth visit to Brazil at a later stage, to carry out on-site research into local agricultural industry clusters, logistics hubs, and market demand, and to promote the effective implementation of cooperation projects.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Lize Financial Business District in Fengtai District, and subsequently traveled to Zhongguancun Fengtai Park for further exchanges, clarifying cooperation directions in areas such as the digital economy, cross-border finance, and industrial collaboration.
This series of exchanges represents an important step in implementing the cooperation memorandum signed by the central banks of China and Brazil in May, as well as the consensus reached at the BRICS Summit. With the continued advancement of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of more cross-sectoral and multi-level collaborative projects, China and Brazil are expected to form stronger synergy in areas including digital trade, agricultural cooperation, and infrastructure development, contributing “China–Brazil wisdom” and “China–Brazil strength” to the building of an open, inclusive, balanced, and mutually beneficial global economic governance system.
Participants in the exchange also included Cid Araújo Pitombo, General Manager of the Brazil Belt and Road & Cultural and Economic Development Fund Federation; Jia Yuanchun, Founder and Secretary-General; José Renato Gransdo Ferreira, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors; Ren Hong, Deputy Director of the Lize Administrative Committee; Zhang Huifang, Head of the Enterprise Services Division; Liu Xianwei, Overseas General Manager of Pan-China Construction Group Co., Ltd.; Liu Lei, Vice President of CNAUTO; Wei Lifeng, CTO of IBI’s Cross-Border Technology Center; and Han Xiao, Vice President of Feidoodoo.
