IBI Selected as a Founding Member of the Industrial Agent Innovation Center, Strengthens University–Industry Collaboration to Build a New Industrial Synergy Ecosystem
On November 19, the 14th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition – Industrial Agent High-Quality Development Event was held at Zhongguancun Fengtai Park. The event was jointly hosted by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the People’s Government of Fengtai District, Beijing. Leaders from national ministries, industry associations, leading enterprises, and universities and research institutes gathered with participating teams to witness the latest achievements in the field of industrial agents. Zhang Meifu, CTO of IBI, was invited to attend the event.
As one of the core segments of the event, Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of the CPC Fengtai District Committee, awarded plaques to the first batch of Industrial Agent Innovation Centers in Zhongguancun Fengtai Park. The IBI Digital Intelligent Supply Chain Innovation Park, together with Fengtai Innovation Center & Fengke Shiji Incubator and CFLD Innovation Center AI+ Industrial Park, jointly forms a cluster of key carriers for industrial agent innovation in the region. This cluster provides essential infrastructure for industrial intelligence upgrading, serves as a crucial mechanism for implementing Fengtai Park’s strategy of “empowering industry through competition,” and accelerates the transformation of innovation outcomes into market applications. The initiative also positions Zhongguancun Fengtai Park to become a national hub for industrial agent innovation and demonstration.
During the project cooperation signing ceremony, IBI signed strategic cooperation agreements with the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University and Wuxi Xuelang Digital Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.. The cooperation aims to further strengthen the regional network integrating government, industry, academia, research, and application, forming a dual-engine system of “academic research + industrial practice.” Leveraging universities’ advantages in mechanical control and intelligent algorithms, and combining these strengths with industry-leading enterprises, the collaboration will explore integrated models of “platform + agents” and lay a solid foundation for scaling and commercializing technological achievements.
Looking ahead, IBI will take the Innovation Center as a key platform to further deepen collaboration across government, industry, academia, research, and application; accelerate the adoption of industrial agent technologies in diversified application scenarios; and leverage the Innovation Center’s platform-driven capabilities to gather innovation resources and enhance the regional industrial ecosystem. As a leading practitioner in the industrial internet sector, IBI will contribute to building Zhongguancun Fengtai Park into a national benchmark for industrial agent applications and innovation, while providing practical support for advancing the “AI+” initiative and promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the manufacturing sector—injecting continuous innovation momentum into China’s new industrialization and high-quality development.
