2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. To further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the digital economy and platform economy—and to support Chinese enterprises expanding overseas—the China Information Association organized the “2025 China–Thailand Digital Economy Cooperation Delegation” to visit Thailand for exchanges and field studies.

The “2025 China–Thailand Digital Economy Summit” was held in Bangkok as a key event celebrating the 50th anniversary of China–Thailand diplomatic ties. Jointly supported by digital-economy authorities and relevant institutions from both countries, the forum aimed to enhance regional digital connectivity and promote coordinated industrial development. Lydodo (LYDD), as a representative enterprise, was invited to participate in the summit on November 19, as well as related industry-matching and business-exchange activities.

The summit brought together representatives from digital and communications authorities, digital-application departments, international organizations, enterprises, and business associations from China, Thailand, and several South Asian and Southeast Asian countries, fostering high-level, broad-scope, and multi-tiered collaboration in the digital arena.

Lydodo began its strategic presence in the Thai market as early as 2024. In September last year, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT).

During the 2024 IBI Duoduo 9.9 Business Linkage Festival, Chen Jinsheng, Minister Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy in China, highly recognized IBI’s digital-economy development achievements and its business model. He expressed hope that the exchange would strengthen cross-border trade cooperation and serve as a bridge for bilateral collaboration.

Pek Lertvongpong, Chairman of RAOT, also stated:
“Thailand has abundant natural resources and high-quality agricultural products. The development of the industrial internet and digital technologies provides an excellent pathway for cross-border cooperation, truly enabling mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.”

In September 2024, the Lydodo–RAOT Business Delegation visited Qingzhou City in Shandong Province and held in-depth discussions with the Qilu Business Unit of Sinotrans Central China Co., Ltd. Both sides reached consensus and signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Thai agricultural imports, Chinese agricultural-input exports, and the joint development of Thailand-based overseas warehouses.

During the summit, Zhao Yingjie, Assistant to the CEO of Lydodo and Director of Overseas Investment, delivered a keynote speech. Zhao emphasized that Lydodo’s expansion in Southeast Asia is not limited to commodity trade, but focuses on building a comprehensive industrial-chain ecosystem. With its expanding global cross-border e-commerce network and promising market outlook, Lydodo is positioned to play an increasingly important role in jointly building the Digital Silk Road. The integration of China’s digital technologies with the unique application scenarios of Southeast Asian markets is rapidly deepening. Lydodo’s presence in Thailand has become an essential component of China–Thailand digital-economy cooperation and a significant contributor to practical achievements under the Digital Silk Road framework.

Following the forum, Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, Honorary President of the Asia International Trade and Investment Association, presented the “China–Thailand Digital Economy Demonstration Enterprise” award to Lydodo. Zhang Li, Vice President of Strategic Development at Lydodo, accepted the certificate on behalf of the company.
