Learning from Revolutionary Martyrs, Strengthening Party Cohesion — IBI Party Branch Visits Xibaipo
To strengthen internal cohesion, reinforce Party members’ ideals and convictions, and enhance Party consciousness while fostering a vanguard spirit that supports the company’s healthy development, all Party members and activists from the IBI Party Branch visited the revolutionary base of Xibaipo under the leadership of Party Secretary Liu Yuan on November 17, 2018. The visit aimed to relive the Party’s glorious history, explore the source of its strength, and remain true to its founding mission.
Honoring the Spirit of Revolutionary Martyrs
Xibaipo was the last rural command center of the Communist Party of China during the War of Liberation and is known as “the place where New China was born.” It witnessed some of the most brilliant achievements of the Party’s New Democratic Revolution period.
Visiting the Revolutionary Site of Xibaipo
Xibaipo is also known as the place where the Party’s discipline and governance systems were established, laying the foundation for building a disciplined and well-organized Party structure that has continued to guide its conduct ever since.
A Solemn Oath — Carrying Forward the Xibaipo Spirit
Xibaipo was the birthplace of the “Two Musts” (“We must remain modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and impetuosity; and we must preserve the spirit of hard work”) and the starting point of the Party’s “Journey to the Capital.” It symbolizes the enduring revolutionary tradition passed down through generations of Communists.
Inheriting the Revolutionary Legacy
Through the two-day visit and learning activities in Xibaipo, Party members and activists underwent both ideological education and spiritual renewal. Everyone expressed their determination to carry forward the Xibaipo Spirit, remember the “Two Musts,” stay true to the original aspiration, and forge ahead with perseverance—contributing with concrete actions to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
