IBI Leverages Capital Markets to Build a Leading B2B E-commerce & Industrial Internet Company

Date: Aug 02,2019 Source:Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd

As B2B e-commerce surges across verticals in China and penetrates entire industrial supply chains, Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd. (IBI, 603613.SH) has seized this strategic window and, after years of development, emerged as a leading player in vertical B2B e-commerce.

On July 30, IBI (603613.SH) was listed on the SSE Main Board. Access to capital markets will further enhance its R&D and service quality, strengthen product advantages, upgrade sales models, and expand its marketing network.

IBI is committed to deeply integrating the internet and IoT with traditional industries to cut costs and boost efficiency. Built on its B2B information service platform IBI Resource Network, it offers online-and-offline commercial information services to enterprises. Through its vertical B2B e-commerce platforms—Toodudu (TDD), Wdoodoo (WDD), and Boododo (BDD)—IBI provides online trading and innovative supply-chain services to coatings & chemicals, hygiene products, and glass value chains. As an “Internet+” solutions provider—via Guolian Quanwang, Shupin Tianxia, and Xiaoziniao—it delivers digital solutions for traditional enterprises and local governments.

Large addressable market; solid growth outlook.
China’s B2B e-commerce GMV has grown rapidly—from RMB 6.25T (2012) to RMB 20.50T (2017), a 26.82% CAGR. As vertical B2B rises, it permeates upstream/downstream of sectors once relatively closed—steel, coal, logistics, chemicals, coatings, glass, hygiene products, electronic components, etc.—injecting new growth into the market. From 2015–2018, IBI’s performance surged, with revenue and net profit CAGRs of 162.64% and 107.95%, respectively.

Strategy and roadmap.
IBI will align with national priorities in industrial e-commerce, industrial internet, and supply-chain innovation, focusing on integrating, upgrading, and transforming traditional industries. It will execute its strategy with vertical B2B platforms as the core, supported by the IBI Resource Network and enhanced Internet+ tech services, plus a nationwide sales system—driving rapid growth. Through platform upgrades, SaaS development, and an industrial-internet R&D center, IBI aims to solidify its position as a leading B2B e-commerce and industrial-internet enterprise in China.

In Oct 2018, IBI was named a National Supply-Chain Innovation & Application Pilot Enterprise by eight ministries. In Dec 2018, its Duoduo platforms were recognized (under MIIT’s guidance) as an Excellent Industrial E-commerce Platform Case.
