IBI (603613.SH) Selected as a National Pilot Demonstration for Manufacturing–Internet Integration

On the evening of November 14, IBI (603613.SH) announced that its project, “IBI Vertical Industrial-Chain Industrial E-commerce Platform,” has been recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as a 2019 Pilot Demonstration Project for the Integration of Manufacturing and the Internet.

To implement the State Council Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Manufacturing and the Internet (Guo Fa [2016] No. 28) and further advance internet-based innovations and demonstration applications in manufacturing technologies, models, and business forms, MIIT issued the Notice on Organizing the Application for 2019 Pilot Demonstration Projects for the Integration of Manufacturing and the Internet (Gong Xin Ting Xin Ruan Han [2019] No. 169) in August 2019. Following local recommendations and expert review, IBI’s submission was selected for this national program.

Grounded in Industrial E-commerce and powered by internet big data, IBI provides online transaction services for industrial goods and raw materials, business information services, and internet technology services. Building on its longstanding industry data foundation, IBI has incubated the Duoduo series of industry-internet platforms—Toodudu (TDD), Wdoodoo (WDD), Boododo (BDD), among others—which deeply serve multiple value chains, including coatings, titanium, alcohol/chemical, hygiene products & materials, glass, and agricultural inputs. These platforms promote the deep integration of internet, IoT, and intelligent manufacturing with traditional industries and will serve as key practice carriers for the pilot demonstration.

This recognition is expected to positively bolster IBI’s industry-internet platform strategy and accelerate the company’s role in driving high-quality digital transformation across industrial supply chains.
