WDD’s First Livestream Smashes ¥500+ Million in Orders in 1 Hour

From 15:00 to 16:00 on March 17, 2020, WDD (Wdoodoo) aired its first-ever livestream. In just one hour, orders exceeded RMB 50 million, with over 21,000 viewers tuning in—marking a brand-new starting point for WDD.

As a B2B vertical e-commerce platform focused on the pulp & paper, nonwovens, and hygiene products value chain, WDD piloted livestream commerce during the COVID-19 outbreak to help upstream and downstream enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency.
