Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business EMBA Class Visits IBI and Holds “Industrial Internet Applications and Trends” Forum
On March 17, over 50 students and faculty members from the EMBA Class 36 (Group 1) of the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) visited IBI (Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd.) and participated in a forum titled “Industrial Internet Applications and Trends,” taking IBI’s industrial internet development as a case study. IBI Chairman Liu Quan attended the event, while IBI Senior Vice President and Toodudu CEO Liu Zhai, also a member of the EMBA class, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Platform, Technology, and Data — The Road to Industrial Internet Innovation and Development.”

The CKGSB EMBA prog
ram is dedicated to cultivating globally minded entrepreneurs capable of connecting global values and integrating international resources amid major global transformations and China’s new development era. The visiting participants, many of whom are founders or senior executives of leading enterprises, expressed strong interest in the development of the industrial internet through deep engagement and open dialogue.
During the visit, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of IBI’s various business segments, represented by the Toodudu industrial internet platform, and discussed specific topics related to platform operations and industrial digitalization.
At the forum, Class Committee Member Jiang Ping, Founding Partner of Shenzhen Yuanwang Future Capital Management Co., Ltd., served as moderator and delivered an overview of the current industrial internet landscape. Senior Vice President and Toodudu CEO Liu Zhai traced IBI’s development journey, analyzing the innovation path of the industrial internet and providing a comprehensive explanation of how the company’s “Platform–Technology–Data” strategy drives the integration of emerging technologies — including the Internet, IoT, big data, and blockchain — with traditional industries.
Several EMBA participants also shared themed insights:
-
Cheng Yunfeng, Chairman of Lehe Food Group Co., Ltd., discussed digital upgrades in the fresh food supply chain;
-
Zhang Xingmin, Chairman of Beijing China Resources Infinite Technology Co., Ltd., spoke on new consumer healthcare;
-
Li Hengyuan, Senior Partner of Beijing Times Jiuhua Law Firm, shared perspectives on policy insights from the “Two Sessions.”
During the evening banquet, IBI Chairman Liu Quan, an alumnus of CKGSB EMBA Class 9, made a surprise appearance. He welcomed the visiting “younger classmates and professors,” shared the story of IBI’s entrepreneurial journey, and expressed his hope that CKGSB and its network of accomplished business leaders would continue to support and engage in the development of China’s industrial internet sector.
The visit included a company tour, an engaging forum, and informal exchanges — all of which deepened mutual understanding and sparked new perspectives on the digital transformation of industry.
