Recently, the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, People’s Bank of China, State Administration for Market Regulation, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, jointly organized an expert review process to identify the first batch of national model cities and enterprises for supply chain innovation and application.
IBI (Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd.) was successfully selected among the 100 model enterprises nationwide.

The estblishment of national demonstration cities and enterprises for supply chain innovation and application is part of the implementation of the State Council’s “Guiding Opinions on Actively Promoting Supply Chain Innovation and Application” (Guo Ban Fa [2017] No.84) and the joint notice issued by eight ministries on launching pilot programs for supply chain innovation and application (Shang Jian Han [2018] No.142).

This initiative aims to:

  • Strengthen China’s supply chain competitiveness and resilience,

  • Enhance efficiency, stability, and security across industries,

  • Cultivate core and champion enterprises in key sectors,

  • Reinforce China’s strategic control and safeguard capabilities over critical industries,

  • And consolidate China’s position in the global supply chain system.

As a leading B2B e-commerce and industrial internet platform, IBI leverages industrial internet big data to promote the extension and integration of industrial and supply chains, transforming traditional “push-based” supply systems into collaborative, innovation-driven “pull-based” networks.

Through its PTDCloud industrial internet platform, IBI utilizes ubiquitous connectivity and real-time data analytics to accurately monitor key production capacities and supply bottlenecks, providing data-driven support for industrial chain and supply chain stability.

The demonstration initiative adheres to the principles of innovation-driven development, coordinated advancement, integrated growth, and sustainable deepening.

IBI will continue to apply modern supply chain management concepts and methodologies to:

  • Enhance overall supply chain management capabilities,

  • Accelerate the integration of emerging technologies including IoT, big data, edge computing, blockchain, 5G, and AI,

  • Advance digital supply chain transformation,

  • And promote collaborative, standardized, digital, green, and globalized supply chain development.

Grounded in industrial e-commerce and the industrial internet, IBI will focus on empowering and upgrading traditional industries — particularly in coatings and chemicals, hygiene products, glass, industrial paper, grain and oil, and fertilizers — to build specialized, secure, and intelligent supply chain ecosystems that contribute to China’s high-quality economic growth.
