Central Committee of the China Democratic League Conducts Research Visit to IBI

Recently, Professor Tian Gang, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League (CDL) and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, led a research delegation to visit Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd. (IBI) for a special study on the topic “General Data Protection and Global Data Strategy.”Qian Xiaojun, President of IBI, and company executives received and engaged in in-depth discussions with the delegation.

The CDL research delegation included:

• Professor Tian Gang, Vice Chairman of the CDL and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences;

• Professor Zhou Yuan, Director of the CDL Science and Technology Committee and Professor at the University of Science and Technology of China;

• Huang Wenyu, Chairman of the Zhongguancun Industrial Information QR Code Technology Research Institute;

• Yan Qin, Deputy Director of the CDL Science and Technology Committee and President of the Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping;

• Zhao Wei, Deputy Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Analysis and Application Technology and Deputy Director of the China Information Security Research Institute;

• Wang Haiyan, Deputy Director of the CDL Science and Technology Committee and Associate Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences;

• Zhang Chao, Deputy Director of the CDL Science and Technology Committee and President of the Zhongguancun Industrial Information QR Code Technology Research Institute.

IBI’s reception team included: President Qian Xiaojun, Senior Vice President and Toodudu CEO Liu Zhai, Chair of the Supervisory Board and Assistant President Liu Rui, Technical Director Zhang Meifu, Board Office Director Hu Jiayuan, and General Office Manager Yang Zihui.

The delegation visited the IBI Data Center and IBI Digital Cloud Exhibition Hall, and listened to a special presentation by President Qian Xiaojun on the company’s strategic development in industrial big data.

Academician Tian Gang highly recognized IBI’s industrial big data strategy, encouraging the company to continue prioritizing data security, break through digital barriers, and build an industrial digital ecosystem while maintaining its rapid growth momentum.

IBI has been vigorously implementing its industrial internet strategy centered on “Platform, Technology, and Data.” The company focuses on building vertical industrial internet platforms within the same industry, supply chain, and value chain, enabling efficient sharing of supply-chain data elements—including design, capacity, orders, raw materials, MRO, logistics, and warehousing.

In recognition of its innovation achievements, IBI was:

• Selected in January 2021 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as part of the “2020 Industrial Internet Pilot Demonstration Projects”;

• Named in May 2021 as one of the “First Batch of National Supply Chain Innovation and Application Demonstration Enterprises” by eight ministries, including the Ministry of Commerce and MIIT;

• Listed again in September 2021 by MIIT among the “2021 Big Data Industry Development Pilot Demonstration Projects.”
