Pan Yong, Senior Vice President and Board Secretary of IBI, was invited to attend the event, deliver a keynote speech, and accept an industry award on behalf of the company.
Guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce and the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, the conference was hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Attending and addressing the event were Yu Bingying, Level-II Inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce; Xing Zhengjun, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor; and Zhu Lian, Level-II Inspector of the Department of E-Commerce, Ministry of Commerce, who delivered a video speech. Also present were Wang Xuanqing, Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce Office in Nanjing, and Zhuang Yan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Executive Deputy Director of the Nanjing Port Office.
With the theme “New Vision, New Landscape, New Collaboration,” the conference focused on the transformation and growth of the industrial internet, bringing together leading industry experts, policymakers, and enterprise representatives for in-depth exchanges.
Enterprises including Alibaba, Full Truck Alliance, IBI, Shanghai Steel Union, Huitongda, and Ouyeel Cloud Commerce participated in the discussions, jointly exploring new trends in the future development of the industrial internet.
During the conference, Pan Yong, Senior Vice President and Board Secretary of IBI, delivered a keynote speech titled “Technology-Driven: IBI’s Industrial Internet Practice.” He shared IBI’s experience and insights in implementing its “Platform, Technology, and Data” strategy, focusing on how technological innovation drives the digitalization of enterprises and industries.
The “Platform, Technology, and Data” strategy is the core of IBI’s development roadmap, with technology-driven growth as a vital pillar. In 2021, IBI began implementing its Digital Cloud Factory Strategy, having already signed cooperation agreements with more than 20 enterprises. Over the next three years, IBI plans to establish 100 digital cloud factories. Meanwhile, the company will continue to explore digital tool systems that build closed-loop industrial ecosystems, helping traditional industries form sustainable internet-based structures.
Mr. Pan emphasized that industrial internet platforms are natural enablers for the digital transformation of traditional industries. With their hybrid knowledge structure, such platforms can effectively address the profitability challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digitalization journeys. He noted that IBI’s primary goal is to empower the real economy by reducing costs and improving efficiency through industrial digitalization. The company will continue to explore solutions in transaction digitalization, supply chain digitalization, and production and operational digitalization, tackling key issues such as tool selection, system adaptation, and implementation costs that often hinder digital transformation for traditional enterprises.
In closing, Mr. Pan called on all industrial digitalization service providers to strengthen cooperation. IBI, he said, is committed to offering application scenarios and profit model solutions to its partners, working together to drive the deep integration of traditional industries with digital technologies.
Additionally, IBI received the “Top 10 of the 2021 China Industrial Internet Top 100 Enterprises” award at the conference. Other awardees included Alibaba, Ouyeel Cloud Commerce, Full Truck Alliance, Huaneng Smart Chain, China National Chemical E-commerce Platform, Wangzhu Group, Shanghai Steel Union, Huitongda, and Meicai—ten of China’s leading industrial internet enterprises.
