China Association of Warehousing and Storage Calls on Members to Join IBI’s “Ensuring Supply and Smooth Logistics, Stabilizing Production and Recovery” Initiative
On June 14, the China Association of Warehousing and Storage (CAWS) issued official document [2022] No. 5, encouraging member enterprises and related companies to actively participate in IBI’s “Ensuring Supply and Smooth Logistics, Stabilizing Production and Recovery” industrial chain support campaign.
The notice stated that, to thoroughly implement the spirit of the State Council’s Working Conference on Ensuring Unimpeded Logistics, the Association urges all member enterprises to leverage their strengths in warehousing and transportation capacity to actively support IBI and its Duoduo platforms. By joining this campaign, members can help optimize logistics resource allocation, meet supply and warehousing demands more efficiently, and contribute to the steady recovery of industrial operations.
Since the campaign’s launch on May 15, IBI’s Duoduo platforms have already attracted 203 logistics enterprises and 25 warehousing companies to participate in coordinated efforts. According to the latest data, a total of 173.6782 million yuan in logistics and warehousing vouchers and discounts have been issued, greatly supporting the continuity of supply chains.
Established in 1991 with the approval of the former Ministry of Materials of the People’s Republic of China and currently under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), CAWS focuses on circulation, warehousing, and transportation—the core areas of supply chain services. Its member enterprises span more than 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, with a combined warehouse area exceeding 100 million square meters.
The release of this initiative is expected to further accelerate the implementation and effectiveness of IBI’s “Ensuring Supply and Smooth Logistics, Stabilizing Production and Recovery” campaign, strengthening supply chain resilience and ensuring the smooth flow of industrial logistics nationwide.
