2022 Fengtai Science and Technology Week Kicks Off, IBI’s “MetaEnterprise” Project Team Praised
On August 19, the 2022 Fengtai Science and Technology Week, jointly hosted by the Fengtai District Bureau of Science, Technology and Informatization, the Publicity Department of the CPC Fengtai District Committee, and the Fengtai District Association for Science and Technology, was officially launched both online and offline under the theme “Travel through the Metaverse, Enjoy the Science Week.” As a technology supporter, IBI’s “MetaEnterprise” project team received wide recognition and praise.
This year’s event was themed “Entering Science, Walking Together.” Liu Bohan, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Fengtai District Bureau of Science, Technology and Informatization, attended the offline event and delivered remarks. Liu Jianbin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Vice Chairman of the Fengtai District Association for Science and Technology, announced the “2022 Naming of Fengtai District Science Popularization Bases.” Luo Sheng, Deputy Director of the Fengtai District Bureau of Science, Technology and Informatization, introduced the “Fengtai District High-tech Enterprise Incubation Service Base,” while Zhong Yuanyuan, Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Fengtai District Committee, presented plaques to the newly named bases.
Powered by IBI’s “MetaEnterprise” project, this year’s Science and Technology Week, for the first time, featured a cloud exhibition format that showcased major achievements in scientific and technological innovation in Fengtai District and its contributions to socio-economic development. Participants gained immersive experiences in the metaverse, learning more directly about digital economy and financial technologies, aerospace achievements, the South Central Axis International Cultural and Technology Park, and metaverse-related innovations.
Zhang Meifu, Vice President and CTO of IBI, was invited to the launch event and explained the online participation model for this year’s Science and Technology Week. On site, Luo Sheng, Deputy Director of the Fengtai District Bureau of Science, Technology and Informatization, gave special recognition and thanks to the “MetaEnterprise” project team for their strong technical support.
“MetaEnterprise” is an important carrier and practice platform for IBI’s digital technology team in advancing industrial metaverse development. The company places strong emphasis on the deep application of metaverse technologies in industrial and supply chains. This initiative aligns with IBI’s strategic focus on platform, technology, and data, as well as the company’s digital factory development. Leveraging digital technologies and its industrial internet platform, IBI will continue to unleash the re-creative power of the digital world and accelerate the process of industrial digitalization.
