IBI Senior Vice President Liu Zhai Invited to Deliver Keynote Speech at the China E-commerce Conference

On September 1, the 2022 China E-commerce Conference, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Department of E-commerce and Informatization of MOFCOM and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled “Enabling Traditional Industries to Realize the Value of Digitalization.”

The conference focused on the integration of the digital economy with the real economy, highlighted achievements in international cooperation under the “Silk Road E-commerce” framework, and explored new models and formats of high-quality innovation. Sheng Qiuping, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of MOFCOM, and Sun Junmin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

At the E-commerce High-quality Development Forum, Cai Yudong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of E-commerce and Informatization of MOFCOM, and Bian Zuodong, Deputy Director-General of the Market Supervision Department of the State Post Bureau, delivered remarks. Other keynote speakers included Chai Yueting, Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for E-commerce Transaction Technology at Tsinghua University and doctoral supervisor; Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu; Chen Rongkai, Vice President of Meituan; Niu Zhijing, Vice President of Cainiao Network; Wang Yu, General Manager of JD Cloud Pan-Retail Solutions at JD Technology; Hao Jianbin, Director of the Research Center and Senior Expert at AliResearch; and Rickey, Founder and CEO of Noboday.

Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, shared her insights: “From the perspective of manufacturing enterprises, the core value of industrial digitalization lies in reducing costs and increasing efficiency.” She emphasized: “Based on the construction of industrial internet platforms, digitalization of transactions, supply chains, and industrial internet applications can jointly support enterprises in lowering costs and improving efficiency across transactions, delivery, production, and management.” She further noted: “An efficiently collaborative industrial digitalization ecosystem is a key direction for current industrial innovation, and industrial internet platforms are an essential driving force in realizing this value.”
