Spring Research Event of the China National Hardware, Electrical and Chemical Products Commercial Association and the Chemical Committee Held at IBI Toodudu
On January 14, the China National Hardware, Electrical and Chemical Products Commercial Association and its Chemical Committee held their Spring Research Event at IBI Toodudu. Attendees included Wang Jiasheng, Chairman of the Association; Shi Qingyu, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors; Vice Chairmen Zhou Deyi and Bai Jingwei; Secretary-General Zhao Yong; Li Zhiqiang, President of the Chemical Committee; as well as more than 20 vice chairmen and member enterprises of the Committee. The delegation visited IBI Toodudu’s headquarters and held extensive discussions on topics such as resumption of work and production, and multidimensional cooperation across the industrial chain.
On behalf of IBI, Liu Zhai, Director and Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. She provided a systematic introduction to the development trajectory and operational model of IBI’s industrial internet platform. As Vice Chairman of the Chemical Committee, she also expressed her vision of promoting industrial digitalization through the construction of industrial internet platforms and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Li Zhiqiang, President of the Chemical Committee, delivered the Committee’s annual work report, emphasizing the importance of leveraging industrial internet platforms for development and showcasing the value of associations in driving industrial innovation and upgrading.
Liu Zhai remarked: “The Association has extensive influence within the industry and has provided strong guidance and support for the development of the Chemical Committee. Since Toodudu joined the Committee in 2020 and was honored to serve as Vice Chairman, we have gained greater opportunities to participate deeply in industry adjustment, collaborate with member enterprises, and showcase the value of industrial internet within the sector. The growth and development of IBI Toodudu could not have been achieved without the support of the Association and its members. Going forward, based on our platform operations, we hope to work closely with the Association and core enterprises across industrial and supply chains to jointly drive industrial innovation and upgrading.”
Vice Chairman Zhou Deyi of the Association highly affirmed the industry value created by IBI Toodudu, stating: “As a practitioner and promoter of industrial digitalization, IBI Toodudu has effectively facilitated cost reduction and efficiency improvement for industrial and supply chain enterprises through collective procurement and digital service systems. We hope Toodudu will continue to collaborate extensively with member enterprises to jointly advance industrial innovation and upgrading.”
In addition, participating enterprise representatives shared insights on their own development and provided feedback on the Association’s work. They expressed their commitment to actively engaging in industrial internet development, enhancing connections, and demonstrating enterprise vitality during the post-pandemic resumption of work and production.
In his concluding remarks, Wang Jiasheng, Chairman of the Association, noted: “This is the first event attended by the entire leadership team after the Association’s re-election, and also the first enterprise exchange activity of 2023. The operation of IBI Toodudu’s industrial internet platform has brought new ideas for the industry’s development and provided a strong lever for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in enterprise operations. We hope the Association’s departments will carefully summarize the experience of this event, pay close attention to the concerns and challenges of member enterprises, and work together to promote the high-quality development of the industry.”
