IBI Director and Senior Vice President Wang Ting Meets with Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Tengku Zafrul

On March 30, at the invitation of the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Tengku Zafrul, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia; Datuk Seri Isham, Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry; Datuk Mustafa, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE); Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA); Mazlan Harun, Commercial Counsellor of MATRADE Beijing Office; Datuk Azmi, Chief Executive Officer of InvestKL; Syed, Deputy Director of the China and East Asia Market Division of MATRADE; and Xiang Jiaxin, Manager of the China and East Asia Market Division of MATRADE, met with Mr. Wang Ting, Director and Senior Vice President of IBI; Ms. Ji Jingjing, CEO of Lydodo; and Ms. Bai Jinyang, Officer of the Foreign Affairs Department of IBI. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in business relations.

Both sides agreed to leverage their overseas resources to further strengthen cooperation, actively promote the establishment of bilateral linkages for cross-border transactions among small and medium-sized enterprises in both countries, and drive the integration of upstream and downstream resources in the China–Malaysia industrial chains, thereby supporting industrial upgrading.
