On the morning of April 10, Zhang Jinmei, Vice Mayor of the Rizhao Municipal Government, led a delegation including Yue Tao, Deputy Director of the Rizhao Municipal Government Office; Su Dongyuan, President of the Rizhao Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT); Wu Xiudong, Director of the CCPIT Office and Fourth-Level Investigator; Fan Yanbo, Deputy Director of the Exhibition Department of the CCPIT; and Li Tong, Staff Member of the Fourth Section of the Rizhao Municipal Government Secretariat, to visit IBI for inspection and exchange.

They were warmly received by Liu Zhai, Director, Senior Vice President of IBI, and CEO of Toodudu; Wang Ting, Director, Senior Vice President of IBI, and Co-CEO of Wdoodo and Lydodo; Cui Lili, Vice President of IBI Resource Network; Fan Huiliang, Vice President of IBI Resource Network; Yang Zihui, Assistant to the President of IBI; and Chen Jianhao, Deputy General Manager of Metallurgical Industry Network. The reception and discussion session was hosted by Cui Lili, Vice President of IBI Resource Network.

The delegation first visited IBI’s second headquarters, where they toured the IBI Big Data Center and the IBI SaaS Service Digital Experience Hall. Accompanied by Wang Ting, Vice President of IBI and Co-CEO of Wdoodo and Lydodo, the guests were given a systematic introduction to IBI’s development history, strategic positioning, overall operation model of the Duoduo platforms, and IBI’s practices in industrial digitalization. At the subsequent roundtable discussion, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in areas such as organizing exhibition activities, digital warehousing upgrades in industrial parks, and industrial e-commerce.

Rizhao, whose name derives from “the first light of sunrise shining,” is a coastal advanced steel industry base designated by both the state and Shandong Province. It is home to two leading steel enterprises—Shandong Steel Rizhao Company and Rizhao Steel Group. At the same time, Rizhao is a key automotive manufacturing base in Shandong Province for vehicles and components, and it has also formed industrial clusters in marine economy, grain and oil processing, port logistics, refined sugar, healthcare, and cultural tourism.

Vice Mayor Zhang Jinmei noted that as a leading B2B e-commerce and industrial internet platform enterprise, IBI aligns well with Rizhao’s industrial resource endowments and digital development path. She expressed the hope that, through government–enterprise collaboration and multidimensional cooperation, Rizhao can inject sustainable momentum into its economic development. She further emphasized the need for deep cooperation with IBI and its Duoduo platforms in building digital supply chain platforms for industries such as steel, automobiles, and glass; upgrading port industries; and reducing costs and improving efficiency in logistics, all to contribute to regional economic innovation and development.

Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, stated: “IBI is vigorously advancing the construction of regional industrial internet ecosystems. Through exchanges and cooperation, we hope to fully integrate with Rizhao’s industrial resources and leverage our full value-chain operational advantages to jointly promote the construction of digital supply chains and industrial internet ecosystems.”

Cui Lili, Vice President of IBI Resource Network, also introduced the preparations for the Third China Steel Industry Chain Expo on New Materials, New Technologies, and New Equipment, to be held in Rizhao from April 26 to 28. This will be the second time the steel expo is hosted in Rizhao, following the success of the inaugural event in 2021. She expressed the hope that the event would deepen cooperation, broaden business collaboration, and achieve further development on the basis of win–win outcomes.

In conclusion, both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening communication, actively exploring and negotiating relevant topics, and jointly advancing the implementation of projects discussed.
