1,500 Participants Gather as Toodudu Co-Hosts the 2023 China International Coatings Conference
From April 11 to 13, the 2023 China International Coatings Conference was successfully held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The event was hosted by the China National Coatings Industry Association and co-hosted by Toodudu, the Jinan New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Pilot Zone, and Inspur “Yunzhou,” with Jinan Xiantou Group as co-organizer.
The conference was attended by over 1,500 government officials, association leaders, industry experts, and corporate representatives. Distinguished speakers included:
• Speech by Li Yunpeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation
• Speech by Liu Pujun, President of the China National Coatings Industry Association
• Speech by Zang Wenchao, Deputy Director of the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Technology Center, Ministry of Ecology and Environment
• Speech by Hui Kang, Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General of the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee
• Speech by Qian Xiaojun, President and CEO of IBI
Also present were Wu Jian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jinan Municipal Government, and Sun Lianying, Honorary President of the China National Coatings Industry Association.
Themed “Green, Low-Carbon, and Digital Transformation,” the conference fostered exchanges and discussions on promoting innovative development in the coatings industry. Liu Zhai, Director and Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Making the Value of Digitalization Visible in Industry,” which received wide recognition.

During the session, Liu Zhai provided a systematic overview of Toodudu’s industrial chain layout in the coatings and chemicals sector, highlighting IBI’s digital industrial practices. He elaborated on IBI’s digital solutions, including digital cloud factories, digital cloud warehouses, smart logistics, and the industrial metaverse, noting: “Amid the surging wave of industrial digitalization, Toodudu remains rooted in the coatings and chemicals sector, committed to the deep integration of internet, IoT, big data, and smart manufacturing technologies with traditional industries, with the ultimate goal of reducing costs and enhancing efficiency for enterprises.”
During the conference, Toodudu signed strategic cooperation agreements with ten organizations and enterprises, including the China National Coatings Industry Association, Jinan Xiantou Group Co., Ltd., Hongye Holding Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Badefu Industrial Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Fenghong New Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Namei New Materials Co., Ltd., Hengshui Xinguang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Henghe Yongsheng Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Qilu Paint Co., Ltd., and Shandong Lehua Paint Co., Ltd.
These agreements mark a new starting point for Toodudu to work hand in hand with industry stakeholders to deepen cooperation in digital transactions, supply chain digitalization, and industrial internet ecosystem building—jointly promoting industrial innovation and upgrading.
