During the 2023 China Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair, the First Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Modern Trade, Logistics, and Financial Innovation Development Forum, themed “Linking Dual Circulation, Empowering the New Economy,” was successfully held on June 17 at the Silk Road International Art Exchange Center in Langfang. Wang Ting, Senior Vice President of IBI, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech.

The forum was jointly hosted by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) and the Langfang Municipal People’s Government, and co-organized by the CFLP Logistics and Supply Chain Finance Branch, CFLP Investment and Financing Branch, and Bank of Langfang. Distinguished experts from the Development Research Center of the State Council, leaders from leading trade and logistics enterprises, executives of state-owned financial institutions, and heads of top urban commercial banks were invited to share insights. They provided in-depth interpretations of key issues such as industry development and upgrading pathways, offering valuable suggestions for the development of Hebei’s modern trade and logistics industry, and promoting the high-quality growth of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei modern trade and logistics sector.

At the forum, Wang Ting, speaking on behalf of IBI, delivered a keynote speech on “Digital Deployment of the Industrial Internet.” He highlighted that IBI’s industrial internet strategy is centered on platform, technology, and data, with a strong focus on driving the digital transformation and interconnection of industry, supply chains, and value chains through digital technologies. Leveraging big data as the core driving force, IBI is building full lifecycle cloud-based services and collaborative platforms, extending industrial chains and upgrading value chains through data value networks, and fostering coordinated development of the trade and logistics industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. This will allow the region to share and jointly promote new achievements in the industrial internet.

During the forum, Bank of Langfang, together with leading institutions from the trade, logistics, and financial sectors, launched the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Modern Trade and Logistics Industry Fund, established the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Modern Trade and Logistics Financial Cooperation and Development Alliance, and inaugurated North China’s first innovation practice base — the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Modern Trade and Logistics Financial Innovation Practice Base.

The event also featured the release of the Research Report on Trade, Logistics, and Financial Services in Hebei under the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Framework, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Financial Services and Trade Logistics Achievement Exhibition, and the signing of major strategic agreements for modern trade and logistics projects in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region with industry-leading enterprises. These initiatives brought together financial power to build Langfang into a hub for modern trade and logistics, contributing to Hebei’s goal of becoming a key national base for modern trade and logistics.
