IBI’s Toodudu, Sinopec Chemical Products Sales East China Company, and Zhong’an United Jointly Develop Customized Material—Winning Industry Praise! Toodudu Presents Banners of Appreciation to Partners on Behalf of Users
Recently, Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of Toodudu, together with Sun Hongbin, Vice President of Toodudu and President of Anhui Toodudu, attended the “Entering the Production Line, Advancing Together” event hosted by Sinopec Chemical Products Sales East China Company (hereinafter referred to as Sinopec CPS East China) and Zhong’an United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhong’an United). To express gratitude for the efforts and achievements made by both Sinopec CPS East China and Zhong’an United in the development and application of a customized material for the Toodudu platform, Toodudu presented banners of appreciation to both partners during the event.
Polypropylene is one of the core products operated on the Toodudu platform. As market demand diversifies and downstream users request more specialized products, Toodudu leveraged its vertical-industry user insights—particularly the need for high-toughness and high-extraction polypropylene—and brought together its expert pool with producers to jointly design a solution. Acting as the supplier of key additive raw materials for this customized product, Toodudu collaborated with Sinopec CPS East China and Zhong’an United to develop the product, which has been widely praised by downstream users.
During the R&D and trial production phases, both Sinopec CPS East China and Zhong’an United responded promptly to Toodudu users’ needs and feedback, working closely at every stage to ensure efficient product launch. At the “Entering the Production Line, Advancing Together” event, Sun Hongbin, on behalf of downstream users, presented banners to both partners, recognizing and appreciating their dedication to meeting customer requirements and fostering win–win industry collaboration. Kong Quan, Party Secretary of Sinopec CPS East China; Shi Huabiao, General Manager and Party Secretary of Zhong’an United; and Liu Zhai jointly witnessed the banner presentation ceremony.
Sun Hongbin remarked:
“Meeting the diverse needs of vertical-industry enterprise users is a core mission of the Duoduo platforms. Leveraging user data accumulated through industrial internet operations, Toodudu actively collaborates with leading enterprises such as Sinopec CPS and Zhong’an United to develop customized products. This project is yet another important example of how the platform is enhancing its supply chain service capabilities to help downstream users reduce costs and improve efficiency.”
He added that beyond customized product development, Toodudu works extensively with upstream and downstream enterprises in areas such as digital transactions, digital supply chain construction, and industrial-belt cross-border expansion to jointly drive industrial innovation and upgrading.
The delegation led by Liu Zhai was also invited to visit Zhong’an United’s exhibition hall, central control room, inspection center, and intelligent polyethylene warehouse—gaining a close-up understanding of production control, analysis and testing, and product packaging processes. They praised Zhong’an United’s garden-style plant, intelligent manufacturing systems, green and low-carbon development practices, and the positive spirit of its employees.
About Zhong’an United Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.
Located in the Anhui (Huainan) Modern Coal Chemical Industrial Park, Zhong’an United is a large-scale integrated coal chemical project jointly invested by Sinopec and the Anhui Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It is a major Sinopec construction project and a key demonstration project in Anhui Province. Phase I includes a 1.7 million t/a methanol plant and a 700,000 t/a polyolefin plant, supported by a 4 million t/a coal mine, with a total investment of RMB 20.7 billion. The project officially commenced production in August 2017, and by July 2019 had completed trial runs covering the entire process flow. Its completion filled a gap in Anhui’s large-scale polyolefin industry and contributed significantly to Sinopec’s industrial structure optimization and the world-leading, clean, and efficient utilization of coal.
